| In the final of the World Championship

| • 01/18/06 : After a failed
attempt to sell WCS at the American Film Market
in November 2005, creators now say, "We are now
trying to get WCS financed in Holland - bringing it
home, as it were. We'll have to bring the budget down,
but we're pretty confident that regardless we can
still get our dark, shocking and apocalyptic vision
on the screen. We plan to have the cameras rolling
later this year." |
| • WCS has been nominated
for an award at the 6th Annual Golden Trailer Awards
in the category of "Best Trailer - No Movie." |
| • At one point, writer
Aubrey Solomon was attached to the film. After just
a few weeks Aubrey had to bow however, because of
other commitments. It was then that Miguel Tajeda-Flores
(Beyond Re-Animator) was pulled onboard to help polish
the script. |
| • Originally scheduled
to shoot in summer of 2004 with a tentative release
date of December 2004. As of September 2004, they
are still in the scriptwriting stages, so the release
will undoubtedly be sometime in 2005. |
| • Richard Raaphorst directed
a short film entitled Zombi 1 as well as the
title sequence for Beyond Re-Animator. The
title sequence was enough for Brian Yuzna to attach
his name to the WCS project. |
